shots and needles, and blood, oh my....

 You will be happy to know, that I DID give myself one of my shots!!  Had to. My dear Hubby was gone, and someone had to do it!  I sucked it up, gathered my courage, put on my big-girl panties, and did it!  And, in the stomach no less!  Just pinched and inch (or so), and went for it!  Not as bad as I would have thought...at least now I know I can. If I have to, but when Hubby is around, I think I will give him the honor!

   I had noticed that this week I was increasingly tired, dizzy, and even was winded just walking up the stairs, that I usually run up and down at least 20 or more times a day.  No wonder...my red count is way down, and the anemia is worse. So, along with my usual chemo, I am getting a unit of blood.  Good oxegenated blood. (does that make me a vampiress?) I am told that by tomorrow I will feel like "bounding up the stairs"!  That's good, because I have jewelery and swaps to work on, furniture to move, and a room to paint!!  Ok so that may be a little optimistic, but who knows!!

Oh Natalie! Do what you can, when you can, and enjoy every minute of it. I don't know if I own a pair of big girl panties that are big enough to give myself shots... I think I would have to somehow anchor it to my couch and fall onto it. Knowing my luck, I would flinch and got scared at the last minute and it would land in my ear or something lovely like that. You are my idol!
